Pink Friday Girls

Greetings! Last night was the second show for Nicki Minaj. I just know she killed it. I woke up this morning thinking about her concert and what a great experience that was. Let me start by saying I am a huge Nicki Minaj fan since the year 2007. Yes, that is a very long time. What I’ve witnessed from this woman in the past decade is unbelievable. She is truly one of a kind. A lot of people cannot reach the level of success she has and maintain it the way she has. You can see her growth as a hip hop artist.

The last Nicki Minaj concert I attended was in 2015. This was the year that I decided to become celibate. Isn’t it ironic that I saw Nicki Minaj the same year I decided to stop having sex and 9 years later I see her again when I decide to have sex again. If I think about that alone, I can compare how much I have changed since the last time I saw Nicki Minaj. I can only imagine how much she has changed since the last time she went on tour. Seeing her in 2015 was a cool experience but I went by myself in uniform. I remember I had to attend my military drill that weekend. The concert was right after. I went to my ex’s house to change for the concert and he wouldn’t open the door or answer the phone. After hours of trying to get inside, I just gave up and went to the concert in uniform. I was so upset but I still enjoyed the show. I actually enjoyed the layout of the show in 2015 but Nicki Minaj performing at the State Farm Arena shows growth. Overall, I thought my experience was great for both shows but if I had to critique this show I would say that they should have put her on the screens. I couldn’t see her as good as I wanted.

Looking back on her show in 2015, I remember she had opening acts and headliners. This show she did not. It was only her, her DJ and Monica. That means she’s making a lot of money on her own. She put on a nearly 3 hour show for us. When I finally left the concert I didn’t realize how late it was. By the time I went home and went to sleep it was almost 3 in the morning. The next day I felt both drained and energized. My manager told me I could have the day off so I spent a lot of the day resting.

It is officially the end of pisces season and I must say this season will forever go down in history. Aries season is up next. My father Dr. Sauveur Mahotiere is a Aries and so is my real Uncle Cami Lapierre. Their birthday’s are in April. For the next two zodiac signs, I just want to recover. I need to get ready for the summer. The way this summer is about to summer is going to be crazy. This is the time to get in the gym and get into your self work. The last place I’m trying to be this summer is in my feelings. I just want to have fun like the song Pink Friday Girls. That song has been stuck in my head.

Phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells, "What you gonna do with your life?"
Oh, Daddy dear, you know you're still number one
But girls, they wanna have fun
Oh, girls just wanna have

I'm lookin' for (I'm lookin' for)
I'm lookin' for my baby (I'm lookin' for)
I'm lookin' for (I'm lookin' for)
I'm lookin' for my baby (I'm lookin' for)

If I had to recap this month I would definitely say it was the “Time of my life”. I had my moment for life not once but twice. First time was in Colombia. I’m still not over that trip. I keep rewatching the videos, photos and content. I am working on my final recap video of the trip. I still can’t believe I experienced that. I have to say a huge thank you to Top Shelf Getaways and Sedarius Blain because I felt like it was my birthday all over again! As we wrap this month up, I want to focus on bettering myself.

This summer is going to be like no other and I need to prepare myself now as much as possible. Seeing Nicki Minaj in Atlanta was great but I would love to see her again somewhere else where I can be even closer then before. I didn’t want to miss my opportunity to see her in Atlanta but I wasn’t really sure if she would still perform. I’m glad she didn’t cancel the show and I’m glad she feels better.
